The MaxiDaptor is part of Viking Johnson's MaxiFit range and is ideal for joining a variety of pipe materials. It is available in a wide range of sizes, making it perfect for repairing broken pipes. The large size range means that only a few sizes must be in stock to cover repairs or emergencies. Furthermore, couplings from the MaxiFit range can withstand angular deviations of up to 6°, resisting subsidence and misalignment, ensuring reliable and long-lasting connections.
The Maxi flange adapter can be connected to various pipe materials, such as steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron, and AC, in accordance with EN 14525 (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 150 flange on one side and has a non-restraint, wide range connection of DN 150 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 158 mm to maximum 184 mm. This flange adapter is equipped with a gasket of EPDM making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.
The MaxiDaptor flange adapter is made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, which makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. For the Maxi side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the MaxiDaptor coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 3° over the entire size range.
