A wide size range and the ability to connect different types of pipe materials make the MaxiFit range from Viking Johnson ideal for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. Repairs or emergencies can be easily handled due to the wide size range, which means that only a few sizes need to be kept in stock. In addition, the MaxiFit coupling is very flexible, allowing it to accommodate angular deviations of up to 6°. Flexible couplings ensure reliable and long-lasting connections, even when subsidence or alignment errors occur.
With the MaxiFit couplings you can attach pipes made of steel, ductile iron, PE, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 200 and has a size range from minimum 218 mm to maximum 244 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM on both sides.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, MaxiFit couplings are made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating. In addition, pipes can be completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket, even when they are damaged or affected by corrosion. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. In addition, the MaxiFit coupling is suitable for angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
