The MaxiDaptor is part of Viking Johnson's MaxiFit range and has a wide size range and ability to connect different types of pipe materials. This makes the MaxiDaptor ideal for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. Repairs or emergencies can be easily handled due to the wide size range, which means that only a few sizes need to be kept in stock. In addition, the flange adapter is very flexible, allowing it to accommodate angular deviations of up to 6°. Flexible couplings ensure reliable and long-lasting connections, even when subsidence or alignment errors occur.
The Maxi flange adaptor can be used on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 150 flange on one side and has a non-restraint, wide range connection of DN 150 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 158 mm to maximum 184 mm. This flange adapter is equipped with a gasket of NBR making it suitable for gas up to PN 6.
The MaxiDaptor flange adapter is manufactured from ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. This makes the flange adapter resistant to long-term abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion. For the Maxi side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the MaxiDaptor coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to a maximum of 3° over the entire size range of the flange adapter.
