Viking Johnson end cap UltraGrip DN080-2" axial

Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series provides a solution for joining non-dedicated pipes made of various materials. The gripping mechanism provides maximum grip around the entire circumference of the pipe, allowing it to withstand axial loads. As internal pressure increases, the gripping mechanism's ability to hold end loads increases. In addition, UltraGrip's grippers are removable, allowing for axial movement.

Application

In accordance with EN 14525, UltraGrip endcaps are compatible with various pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The UltraGrip end cap is restraint and has a 2" internal thread, axial outlet. This end cap has a DN 80 wide range connection with a size range of at least 85,7 mm to a maximum of 107 mm. This end cap is equipped with a gasket of EPDM making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The UltraGrip end cap is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. This end cap is made of steel with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, making the UltraGrip coupling highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. In addition, pipes can be completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket , even when they are affected by corrosion or damaged. An additional advantage is that the UltraGrip couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. It is recommended to use a support liner when connecting a PE pipe to the UltraGrip side. Furthermore, the UltraGrip end cap allows angular deflection up to 4° over the entire size range of the end cap.
