When connecting non-dedicated pipes, such as cast iron or AC pipes, dimensional and compatibility problems with couplings arise. Hawle addresses these challenges with the Synoflex series. For example, older pipes, such as asbestos cement and cast iron, can be connected to modern pipes, such as PE and PVC. In addition, they have a long lifetime and are quick, safe and easy to install. Because time and costs are saved, the Hawle Synoflex coupling is an all-round coupling and an essential product in pipeline engineering.
The flange bore is according to wide range. This flange adapter is equipped with a gasket of EPDM making it suitable for drinking water up to PN10.
The Synoflex flange adapter is manufactured from ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating. This makes the flange adapter resistant to long-term abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion. Compared to other couplings on the market, the unique design of the grip ring ensures even pressure distribution over the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe. Furthermore, the Synoflex coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to a maximum of 4° over the entire size range of the flange adapter.
