Viking Johnson flange adapter UltraGrip DN200 218,1-256,0 mm

Viking Johnson offers a solution for connecting non-dedicated pipes of various materials with the UltraGrip series. The gripping mechanism provides maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference and resistance for axial loads. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism can hold more end loads. In addition, UltraGrip can be converted to a flexible, non-restraint product that allows axial movement by removing the grippers.

Application

In accordance with EN 14525, UltraGrip flange adapters are compatible with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 200 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 200 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 218,1 mm to maximum 256 mm. In addition, this flange adapter has EPDM sealing material and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The UltraGrip flange adapter is made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, which makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. In addition, the specially profiled gasket completely seals pipes, despite damage or corrosion on the pipes. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, within the entire size range of the UltraGrip coupling, an angular deflection of up to 4° is possible.
