Hawle universal tapping saddles allow you to make a reliable branch on existing ductile iron, AC (asbestos cement) or steel pipes without completely shutting it off. The tapping saddles are specifically designed to meet the requirements of different pipe materials, making them versatile in various industrial environments. Using these tapping saddles ensures a reliable and efficient connection, minimizes interruptions and maintains the integrity of existing pipes.
The type 3500 tapping saddle has an internal thread connection of 2" and is suitable for steel, ductile iron or AC pipes of DN 350/600. With a gasket of EPDM, it is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16. The tapping saddle is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, making it highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion.
NOTE: This tapping saddle head requires two straps.
