The 8075 end cap from Hawle is part of the System 2000 series, an innovative system specially designed for repairing or expanding existing networks using plastic pipes. A lip seal ring in the System 2000 coupling makes inserting the pipe very easy. Due to this mechanical connection, welding is also unnecessary, making installation and removal of the pipes both effortless and safe.
According to EN 12201, DIN 8074 and EN ISO 1452-2, the System 2000 end cap is suitable for both PE80/100 pipes and PVC pipes. The Systeem 2000 end cap is restraint and has an internal thread, axial outlet. This end cap has a dedicated connection of 110 mm. This end cap is equipped with a gasket of EPDM making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.
The Systeem 2000 end cap is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, making the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other endcaps on the market. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21.
