DENSO anti-corrosion tape DENSOLEN®-R20 HT 30 mm black

Application

As a mechanical protection tape, DENSOLEN-R20 HT is applied in combination with DENSOLEN® 3-layer polymer tape. The tape is very suitable for pipes subject to extreme mechanical loads. The DENSOLEN®-R20 HT tapes are used in a number of tape systems. For the DENSOLEN®-AS39 P/-R20 HT, DENSOLEN®-AS40 Plus/-R20 HT and DENSOLEN®-AS50/-R20 HT systems, the tape meets the requirements of stress class C 50 according to EN 12068. In addition, the tape is used in the DENSOLEN®-ET100/-R20 HT system for temperatures up to +100 °C.

Product Features

DENSOLEN®-R20 HT is a co-extruded 2-layer plastic tape made of stabilized polyethylene carrier material with a butyl rubber adhesive on one side. The butyl rubber adhesive on DENSOLEN®-R20 HT completely fuses with the outer butyl rubber layer of the DENSOLEN® 3-layer tapes. In addition, DENSOLEN®-R20 HT also exhibits good UV stability. DENSOLEN®-R20 HT is cold applied and can be used in combination with factory coatings of PE, PP, FBE, PU, CTE and bitumen. The tape is suitable for operating temperatures from -40 to +50 °C. The tape has a thickness of 0,5 mm, a width of 30 mm and a roll length of 30 m.
