DENSO anti-corrosion tape DENSOLEN®-ET100 50 mm

For repair work of pipeline connections and to protect them against corrosion, several DENSO products can be used, including DENSOLEN® butyl rubber tapes and mastics. DENSOLEN® tapes are easy to apply and do not require any special equipment. The tapes are self-amalgamating and form a protective layer that is both water-resistant and oxygen-resistant. Application

DENSOLEN®-ET100 is mainly used for coating repairs on heat transfer pipes due to its excellent temperature stability up to +100 °C. In combination with DENSOLEN®-R20 HT, DENSOLEN®-ET100 acts as an inner corrosion protection tape in the DENSOLEN®-ET100/-R20 HT tape system, which has been certified for stress class B 70 according to EN 12068 and DIN 30672 by Enagas (Spain).

Product Features

DENSOLEN®-ET100 is a co-extruded 3-layer plastic tape made of stabilized polyethylene carrier material with butyl rubber adhesive on both sides. This tape system is impermeable to water vapor and oxygen and offers resistance to soil bacteria and electrolytes because the butyl rubber layers of the tape completely melt together during the wrapping of the tape, creating a leak-proof, hose-type coating. DENSOLEN®-ET100 is cold applied and can be used in combination with factory coatings of PE, PP, FBE, PU, CTE and bitumen. The tape is suitable for operating temperatures from -40 to +70 °C. The tape has a thickness of 1 mm, a width of 50 mm and a roll length of 12,5 m.
