DENSO isolation tape DENSIT®-FK10 40 mm

DENSO has developed various DENSIT® tapes specifically for insulation and sealing. The tapes offer protection against the ingress of air and water. In addition, the tapes create high-quality connections between prefabricated components, making them an indispensable part of any construction or building project.

DENSIT®-FK and -K are particularly suitable as an intermediate layer between metal surfaces of the same or different types, as well as between construction components made of other materials. This allows these tapes to be used for insulation in the construction of wagons and containers. In addition, they can be used for corrosion protection of ventilation and cooling systems, as well as for sealing joints in ventilation, air conditioning and electrical technology applications.

DENSIT®-FK and -K are distinguished in particular by their ability to provide galvanic isolation between different metals. This is due to a high electrical resistance and an operating temperature range of -50 to +80 °C. DENSIT® -FK tapes consist of a laminated thin polyethylene film. In contrast to DENSIT® -K, DENSIT® -FK only has one adhesive layer and is therefore ideal for use on free surfaces. This tape has a width of 40 mm, a thickness of 1 mm and a roll length of 10 m.
