DENSO filling mass DENSOLEN®-WS Mastic 0,5 kg

To prevent corrosion on pipelines, DENSO's anti-corrosion tapes can be used, but before applying them, DENSO's filler compounds can be applied to fill voids and uneven surfaces. DENSOLEN®-Mastic is specifically designed for use with DENSOLEN® tapes and is often applied to high weld seams, T-pieces, or cable outlets to fill and smooth the surfaces. When used with DENSOLEN® tapes, the filler forms a self-amalgamating layer to ensure permanent protection against corrosion.

Product Features

The DENSOLEN®-Mastic filling compounds are made of a synthetic butyl rubber mastic and are available in various forms. DENSOLEN®-WS Mastic, a bar-shaped version, is the softest and most easily deformable. This filling compound is supplied in a 500 gram weight. An alternative is DENSOLEN®-WP, a formable tape with good stability.

Processing

The DENSOLEN® fillers can be applied and shaped by hand to smooth the uneven surface. Furthermore, the use of heat is not necessary during application, which makes installation simple and efficient, thus reducing time and risks. For optimum adhesion to the pipeline, it is recommended to pretreat the surface with DENSOLEN®-HT Primer.
