The MaxiDaptor is part of Viking Johnson's MaxiFit range and is ideal for joining different types of pipe materials and has a wide size range, making it perfect for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. The wide size range means that only a few sizes need to be kept in stock to cover repair or emergency situations. In addition, MaxiDaptor is highly flexible, allowing it to accommodate angular deflection up to 6°. This flexibility makes the flange adapter resistant to ground settlement or misalignment, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting connection.
The Maxi flange adaptor can be used on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 200 flange on one side and has a non-restraint, wide range connection of DN 200 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 218 mm to maximum 244 mm. With a gasket of NBR, the flange adapter is suitable for gas up to PN 6.
The MaxiDaptor flange adapter is made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, which makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. For the Maxi side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the MaxiDaptor coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to a maximum of 3° over the entire size range of the flange adapter.
