Viking Johnson flange adapter UltraGrip DN050 048,0-071,0 mm

Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series is designed to provide a solution for joining non-dedicated pipes made of different materials. It features a gripping mechanism that provides maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference, resisting axial loading. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism's ability to hold the end load increases. Additionally, the grippers are removable, allowing UltraGrip to be converted into a flexible, non-restraint product that allows for axial movement.

Application

In accordance with EN 14525, UltraGrip flange adapters are compatible with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 50 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 50 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 48 mm to maximum 71 mm. With a gasket of EPDM, the flange adapter is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The UltraGrip flange adapter is made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, which makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. In addition, even damaged and corroded pipes can be completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, it is possible to absorb an angular deflection of up to 4° over the entire size range of the entire UltraGrip couplings.
