The Hawle 8075 end cap is part of the System 2000 series, a system specifically designed for repairing or expanding plastic pipe networks. With the System 2000 coupling, the pipe is simply inserted into the connection using the lip seal ring. This mechanical connection eliminates welding and ensures that the pipes can be installed and removed easily and safely.
According to EN 12201, DIN 8074 and EN ISO 1452-2, the System 2000 end cap is suitable for both PE80/100 pipes and PVC pipes. The Systeem 2000 end cap is restraint and has an internal thread, radial outlet. This end cap has a dedicated connection of 250 mm. In addition, this end cap is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM.
To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, Systeem 2000 end caps are made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other endcaps on the market. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21.
