DENSO filling mass DENSOLEN®-WP Mastic 80x5 mm

DENSO's filler compounds are used to fill cavities and uneven surfaces in piping systems to prevent corrosion in combination with anti-corrosion tapes. The DENSOLEN® Mastic series is specifically designed to work with DENSOLEN® tapes. It is used for smoothing high weld seams, filling cavities in T-pieces and cable outlets, and smoothing other uneven surfaces. By fusing with DENSOLEN® tapes, the filler forms a sealing layer which provides permanent protection against corrosion.

Product Features

The DENSOLEN®-Mastic filling compounds are made of a synthetic butyl rubber mastic and are available in various forms. DENSOLEN®-WP Mastic is a tape with good stability and formability. The length of this tape is 5 m. An alternative is DENSOLEN®-W or WS, a bar-shaped version that is soft and easily formable.

Processing

The DENSOLEN® fillers can be applied and shaped by hand to smooth the uneven surface. Furthermore, the use of heat is not necessary during application, which makes installation simple and efficient, thus reducing time and risks. For optimum adhesion to the pipeline, it is recommended to pretreat the surface with DENSOLEN®-HT Primer.
