Due to dimensional and compatibility issues with couplings, connecting non-dedicated pipes, such as cast iron and AC, can be challenging. Hawle addresses these challenges with the Synoflex series, which is specifically designed to easily connect, for example, older pipes, such as asbestos cement or cast iron, to modern pipe materials, such as PE and PVC. Installation is quick, safe and easy, and Synoflex also has a long service life. With their versatility and ability to save time and money, Hawle Synoflex couplings are an indispensable product.
The flange bore is according to wide range. The gasket of this flange adapter is made of EPDM, making the coupling suitable for drinking water up to PN16.
The Synoflex flange adapter is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, which makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. Furthermore, within the entire size range of the Synoflex coupling, an angular deflection of up to 4° is possible.
