Viking Johnson offers a solution for connecting non-dedicated pipes of various materials with the UltraGrip series. The gripping mechanism provides maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference and resistance for axial loads. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism can hold more end loads. In addition, UltraGrip can be converted to a flexible, non-restraint product that allows axial movement by removing the grippers.

Application

The UltraGrip flange adapter can be connected to various pipe materials, such as steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron, and AC, in accordance with EN 14525 (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 300 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 300 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 315 mm to maximum 356 mm. In addition, this flange adapter is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM.

Product Features

To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, UltraGrip flange adapters are made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. In addition, pipes can be completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket, even when they are damaged or affected by corrosion. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, it is possible to absorb an angular deflection of up to 4° over the entire size range of the entire UltraGrip couplings.
