Viking Johnson flange adapter UltraGrip DN400 398,2-442,0 mm

Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series is designed to provide a solution for joining non-dedicated pipes made of different materials. It features a gripping mechanism that provides maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference, resisting axial loading. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism's ability to hold the end load increases. Additionally, the grippers are removable, allowing UltraGrip to be converted into a flexible, non-restraint product that allows for axial movement.

Application

In accordance with EN 14525, UltraGrip flange adapters can be used with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 400 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 400 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 398,2 mm to maximum 442 mm. The gasket of this flange adapter is made of EPDM, making the coupling suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, UltraGrip flange adapters are made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. In addition, the specially profiled gasket ensures that even damaged and corroded pipes are completely sealed. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the UltraGrip coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to a maximum of 4° over the entire size range of the flange adapter.
