Viking Johnson flange adapter UltraGrip DN100 107,2-133,2 mm NBR

Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series is designed to join non-dedicated pipes of various materials. The gripping mechanism provides maximum grip around the pipe circumference, thereby resisting axial loads. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism can also hold more end load. Because the grippers are removable, UltraGrip can also be converted to a flexible, non-restraint product that allows for axial movement.

Application

The UltraGrip flange adaptor can be used on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 100 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 100 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 107,2 mm to maximum 133,2 mm. The gasket of this flange adapter is made of NBR, making the coupling suitable for gas up to PN 5.

Product Features

To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, UltraGrip flange adapters are made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. Due to the specially profiled gasket of the coupling, even pipes that are damaged or affected by corrosion can be completely sealed. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the UltraGrip coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to a maximum of 4° over the entire size range of the flange adapter.
