Viking Johnson flange adapter UltraGrip DN080 085,7-107,0 mm

Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series is designed to join non-dedicated pipes of various materials. The gripping mechanism provides maximum grip around the pipe circumference, thereby resisting axial loads. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism can also hold more end load. Because the grippers are removable, UltraGrip can also be converted to a flexible, non-restraint product that allows for axial movement.

Application

The UltraGrip flange adaptor can be used on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 80 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 80 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 85,7 mm to maximum 107 mm. In addition, this flange adapter has EPDM sealing material and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, UltraGrip flange adapters are made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. Even pipes that are damaged or corroded are completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket of the coupling. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, within the entire size range of the UltraGrip coupling, an angular deflection of up to 4° is possible.
