Viking Johnson coupling UltraGrip DN200 218,1-256,0 mm

Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series is designed to provide a solution for joining non-dedicated pipes made of different materials. It features a gripping mechanism that provides maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference, resisting axial loading. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism's ability to hold the end load increases. Additionally, the grippers are removable, allowing UltraGrip to be converted into a flexible, non-restraint product that allows for axial movement.

Application

The UltraGrip coupling can be connected to various pipes, including cast iron, ductile iron, steel, PVC, PE, GRP, and asbestos cement. The UltraGrip coupling is restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 200 and has a size range from minimum 218,1 mm to maximum 256 mm on both sides. The gasket of this coupling is made of EPDM, making the coupling suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The UltraGrip coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The UltraGrip coupling is made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating. This makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion over a long period of time. Even pipes that are damaged or corroded are completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket of the coupling. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the UltraGrip coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 8° (2x 4°) over the entire coupling size range.
