A wide size range and the ability to connect different types of pipe materials make the MaxiFit range from Viking Johnson ideal for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. Repairs or emergencies can be easily handled due to the wide size range, which means that only a few sizes need to be kept in stock. In addition, the MaxiFit coupling is very flexible, allowing it to accommodate angular deviations of up to 6°. Flexible couplings ensure reliable and long-lasting connections, even when subsidence or alignment errors occur.
MaxiFit couplings are suitable for pipes made of steel, ductile iron, cast iron, plastic, GRP and asbestos cement. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 100 and has a size range from minimum 107 mm to maximum 132 mm on both sides. This coupling is equipped with a EPDM gasket on both sides, making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, the MaxiFit coupling offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. Even pipes that are damaged or corroded are completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket of the coupling. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. In addition, the MaxiFit coupling is suitable for angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
