DENSO filling mass SEALID® All-in-1 Mastic R 40x5 mm

Pipelines can be protected against corrosion using DENSO corrosion preventive tapes, but in case of uneven surfaces on the pipeline, DENSO fillers can be applied first to fill these voids. SEALID®-Mastic is used in combination with SEALID®-All-in-1 Tape. This filling compound can be used for a variety of purposes, such as filling champers in T-pieces, sealing cable outlets from field-joint coatings, or smoothing transitions between steel surfaces and factory coatings. In combination with SEALID®-Tape, the filling compound has a self-amalgating effect. This ensures full surface coverage and permanent corrosion prevention. Together, SEALID®-Mastic and -Tape meet the requirements of ISO 21809-3 and EN 12068.

Product Features

There are two versions of this filler available. SEALID®-Mastic R is a strip-shaped version suitable for smoothing out longer elevations. This strip has a width of 40 mm and a roll length of 2 m. Furthermore, thanks to DENSO's continuous commitment to innovation and sustainability, the SEALID® system is H2-ready, making it perfect for the future transition to hydrogen energy.

Processing

SEALID® Mastic can be applied and shaped by hand to smooth the uneven surface. SEALIDⓇ-All-in-1 Mastic R has an operating temperature up to 70 °C. Furthermore, processing is efficient and simple because a primer and preheating are not required. This saves time and costs and significantly reduces risks.
