Viking Johnson end cap UltraGrip DN200-2" axial

For connecting non-dedicated pipes of different materials, the UltraGrip series from Viking Johnson is an excellent solution. The gripping mechanism ensures maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference and is therefore resistant to axial loads. With increasing internal pressure, the gripping mechanism can hold more end loads. In addition, UltraGrip can be converted into a flexible, non-restraint product with axial movement by removing the grippers.

Application

In accordance with EN 14525, UltraGrip endcaps are compatible with various pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The UltraGrip end cap is restraint and has a 2" internal thread, axial outlet. This end cap has a DN 200 wide range connection with a size range of at least 218,1 mm to a maximum of 256 mm. This end cap is equipped with a gasket of EPDM making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The UltraGrip end cap is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The UltraGrip end cap is made of steel with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, making the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. In addition, the specially profiled gasket ensures that even damaged and corroded pipes are completely sealed. An additional advantage is that the UltraGrip couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. It is recommended to use a support liner when connecting a PE pipe to the UltraGrip side. Furthermore, the UltraGrip end cap allows angular deflection up to 4° over the entire size range of the end cap.
