MaxiFit from Viking Johnson is ideal for joining a variety of pipe materials and has a wide size range, making it ideal for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. The large size range means that only a few sizes must be in stock to meet repair or emergency situations. In addition, MaxiFit couplings are highly flexible and can accommodate angular deflection of up to 6°. This flexibility makes the couplings resistant to subsidence or misalignment, making this coupling a long-lasting, reliable product.
MaxiFit couplings can be used on a wide range of pipe materials including steel, ductile iron, PE, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement pipes. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 50 and has a size range from minimum 57 mm to maximum 74 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling has a gasket made of NBR on both sides and is therefore suitable for gas up to PN 6.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, the MaxiFit coupling offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. Due to the specially profiled gasket of the coupling, even pipes that are damaged or affected by corrosion can be completely sealed. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the MaxiFit coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire coupling size range.
