The large size range means that only a few sizes must be in stock to meet repair or emergency situations. In addition, MaxiFit couplings are highly flexible and can accommodate angular deflection of up to 6°. This flexibility makes the couplings resistant to subsidence or misalignment, making this coupling a long-lasting, reliable product.
The MaxiFit coupling can be used for a wide range of pipe materials, such as steel, ductile iron, PE, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement pipes. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 100 and has a size range from minimum 107 mm to maximum 132 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 6 due to the gasket of NBR on both sides.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The MaxiFit coupling is made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, making the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. In addition, the specially profiled gasket ensures that even damaged and corroded pipes are completely sealed. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the MaxiFit coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire coupling size range.
