Viking Johnson end cap UltraGrip DN200-1" radial

For connecting non-dedicated pipes of different materials, the UltraGrip series from Viking Johnson is an excellent solution. The gripping mechanism ensures maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference and is therefore resistant to axial loads. With increasing internal pressure, the gripping mechanism can hold more end loads. In addition, UltraGrip can be converted into a flexible, non-restraint product with axial movement by removing the grippers.

Application

The UltraGrip end cap can be connected to a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The UltraGrip end cap is restraint and has a DN 200 wide range connection with a size range from a minimum of 218,1 mm to a maximum of 256 mm. With a gasket of EPDM, this end cap is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The UltraGrip end cap is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. Thanks to the steel housing with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, the UltraGrip end cap provides long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. Due to the specially profiled gasket of the coupling, even pipes that are damaged or affected by corrosion can be completely sealed. An additional advantage is that the UltraGrip couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Over the entire size range of the end cap, the UltraGrip is capable of accommodating angular deflection up to 4°.
