DENSO isolation tape DENSIT®-K20 40 mm

DENSO has developed various DENSIT® tapes specifically for insulation and sealing. The tapes offer protection against the ingress of air and water. In addition, the tapes create high-quality connections between prefabricated components, making them an indispensable part of any construction or building project.

DENSIT®-FK and -K are particularly suitable as an intermediate layer between metal surfaces, but also between construction parts made of other materials. These tapes are therefore also suitable for insulation in wagons and containers. In addition, they can be used to protect ventilation and cooling systems against corrosion, but also to seal connections in ventilation, air conditioning and electrical systems.

DENSIT®-FK and -K are distinguished in particular by their ability to provide galvanic isolation between different metals. This is due to a high electrical resistance and an operating temperature range of -50 to +80 °C. DENSIT®-K is a self-adhesive tape made of flexible butyl rubber. Unlike DENSIT® -FK, DENSIT® -K has an adhesive layer on both sides. Thanks to its double-sided adhesive strength, DENSIT®-K is particularly suitable for applications between metal parts. This tape has a width of 40 mm, a thickness of 2 mm and a roll length of 4 m.
