The Combi-T valve combines the latest gate valve technology with the advantages of a T-piece. It creates a compact way to make a closable branch on a continuous pipe. The Hawle E3 combi valves are suitable for water, gas and other underground applications. Due to their standard mounted duplex stainless steel spindle and their corrosion resistance, the Hawle E3 gate valves are extremely reliable and easy to use. Thanks to a spindle extension for every size and the option of automatic control of the actuator, E3 valves are versatile.

Product Features

The Combi-T has a housing of cast iron with epoxy powder coating and a vulcanized valve disc and gasket of EPDM. This makes the valve suitable for drinking water up to PN 16. Even under severe conditions, corrosion is prevented due to the corrosion-resistant materials. This guarantees a long service life. The T-piece has two restraint, dedicated System 2000 connections with a diameter of 160 mm on the opposing sides and a connection of 160 mm and DN 100 gate valve on the branch side. System 2000 connections are suitable for PE and PVC pipes.

System 2000

The 4343E3 combi valve is part of Hawles System 2000 range, an innovative system specifically designed for carrying out repairs or expanding existing networks using plastic pipes. By using a lip seal ring , the System 2000 connection makes it easy to insert the PE or PVC pipe. Thanks to this restraint mechanical connection, welding is unnecessary and assembly and disassembly of the pipes becomes both simple and safe. The System 2000 is suitable for PE pipes 80/100 (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2).

System 2000 pipe connections have passed all tests of an independent testing institute with flying colors and have earned the title “100 Years Expected Lifetime”.
