Hawle coupling Synoflex 7974 DN300 313/356 mm

Due to dimensional issues and coupling compatibility, connecting non-dedicated pipes such as cast iron and AC can be challenging. Hawle addresses these challenges with the Synoflex series, which is specifically designed to connect older pipes such as asbestos cement or cast iron to modern pipe materials such as PE and PVC. Application

In accordance with EN 14525, Synoflex couplings can be used with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The Synoflex coupling is restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 300 and has a size range from minimum 313 mm to maximum 356 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling has a gasket made of EPDM on both sides and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN16.

Product Features

Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an epoxy powder coating, the Synoflex coupling offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. Compared to other couplings on the market, the unique design of the grip ring ensures even pressure distribution over the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, the Synoflex coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 8° (2x 4°) over the entire coupling size range.
