DENSO joint agent TOK®-Plastic 10 kg

TOK®-Plast from DENSO is a synthetic, fibre-reinforced compound based on bitumen, suitable for road construction. Thanks to its good bonding properties, TOK®-Plast guarantees a very durable joint quality. In addition, the material is resistant to wet conditions and retains its shape and properties when exposed to moisture or rain. TOK®-Plast complies with the regulations for bonding asphalt surfaces according to ZTV Asphalt-StB.

Processing

TOK®-Plast can be applied cold using the PLASTOMAT® or with a spatula or brush. For longitudinal joints, this process is usually carried out with the PLASTOMAT®. For side joints and similar smaller applications – which may also include other asphalt layers – this is often done with a spatula or brush. Furthermore, processing is efficient and simple because a primer and preheating are not required. This saves time and costs and significantly reduces risks. This product is supplied in a 10 kilogram weight.
