Application Aflex Pharmaline

The Pharmaline type N and type X from Aflex are widely used in the pharmaceutical industry, food industry, but also in the fine chemical industry, biotech and laboratories. This highly flexible and kink-resistant PTFE hose has been specifically developed for applications where silicone hoses perform insufficiently. The Pharmaline N and X have high chemical resistance, are easy to clean and can also be sterilized with steam.

Range

Type N: Available in inner diameter from 6.4mm (1/4") to 80mm (3"). It comes with a stainless steel braid and has a white silicone outer jacket.

Type X: Available in inner diameter from 6.4mm (1/4") to 50mm (2"). This is supplied without a stainless steel braiding and has a transparent silicone outer jacket.

• Temperature range: -73°C to +204°C
• Working pressure type N *: up to 80 bar (1160 psi)
• Burst pressure type N *: up to 320 bar (4641 psi)
• Working pressure type X *: up to 7.5 bar (109 psi) 
• Burst pressure type X *: up to 30 bar (tot 435 psi)
• Vacuum *: down to -0.9 bar

The Pharmaline N and X comply with many EN and ISO standards and have many approvals such as FDA, USP and ATEX. We will be happy to send you a complete and up-to-date overview on request.

Inspection, repair, testing and certification

Our service does not end with the delivery of your hose. We also carry out inspections on hose assemblies in our own test center or on your company location. We repair hoses, test them and provide a test certificate.
