DENSO anti-corrosion tape DENSO®-Tape ET 50 mm

Application

By combining DENSO®-Tape ET with other DENSO® products it is an ideal choice for a wide range of applications. The tape can be applied with a 50% overlap around a surface prepared with DENSO®-Mastic. Further mechanical protection can be provided by Denso's DENSOLEN® tapes. The result is a reliable and high-quality seal.

Product Features

DENSO®-Tape ET consists of an impregnated polypropylene carrier material, which is coated on both sides with a corrosion-preventing petrolatum mastic. This makes the tape impermeable to water and highly resistant to aqueous electrolyte solutions. The petrolatum mastic is stabilized by polymer additives, which means that the tape can be used at operating temperatures from -40 °C to 75 °C. The petrolatum mastic has a high melting point and excellent adhesive properties, making DENSO®-Tape ET ideally suited for high mechanical and thermal loads. The tape is very flexible, even at low temperatures, and easy to apply due to its optimal surface wetting. In addition, DENSO®-Tape ET shows high resistance to acids, salts and alkaline substances. The thickness of the tape is 1,1 mm, the width 50 mm, and the roll length 10 m.
