DENSO anti-corrosion tape DENSO®-Tape MT 150 mm

Pipes, metal structures and pipe components such as fittings and flange connections are all protected against corrosion by DENSO's corrosion prevention products. Their anti-corrosion tapes are easy to apply and do not require heat. In addition, the petrolatum tapes are solvent- and odour-free. Application

DENSO®-Tape MT is used in combination with DENSO® petrolatum mastics and is suitable for various applications. It can be used in combination with DENSO®-PF Mastic, which fills weld seams and metal construction parts with uneven surfaces or complex shapes, such as flanges. It can also be used in combination with DENSO®-AQ Primer, which is used to coat damp surfaces. The combination of DENSO®-Tape MT with DENSOLEN®-AS50 can provide high impact resistance and extra tight casings. DENSOLEN®-AS50 is applied after the tape for additional mechanical protection.

Product Features

DENSO®-Tape MT consists of an impregnated polypropylene carrier material, which is coated on both sides with a corrosion-preventing petrolatum mastic. This makes the tape impermeable to water and highly resistant to aqueous electrolyte solutions. The petrolatum mastic is stabilized by polymer additives, which means that the tape can be used at operating temperatures from -30 °C to 60 °C. The petrolatum mastic has a high melting point and excellent adhesive properties, making DENSO®-Tape MT ideally suited for high mechanical and thermal loads. The thickness of the tape is 1,7 mm, the width 150 mm, and the roll length 10 m.
