DENSO anti-corrosion tape DENSOLEN®-090 100 mm

For pipe repair and corrosion prevention, DENSO offers DENSOLEN® butyl rubber tapes and mastics. DENSOLEN® tapes are easy to apply and do not require any special tools. Application

As part of the DENSOLEN®-S10/-090 and DENSOLEN®-E10/-090 tape systems, Densolene®-090 acts as the outer tape component. It is ideal for corrosion protection on metal pipes and molded parts with complex geometries, such as T-fittings and inlet fittings. Due to its flexibility, DENSOLEN®-090 is also used in special DENSOLEN® Systems 1 to 4 as a middle tape. In this respect, the tape is part of various systems certified by ÖVGW (AT) for a load class C 50. Due to its exceptional flexibility, DENSOLEN®-090 is also ideal for confined spaces on construction sites, even for pipes with small nominal diameters.

Product Features

DENSOLEN®-090 is a 2-layer co-extruded plastic tape made of polyethylene carrier material with a butyl rubber adhesive on one side. The butyl rubber adhesive on DENSOLEN®-090 bonds completely to the outer butyl rubber layer of DENSOLEN® three-layer tapes. DENSOLEN®-090 is cold applied and can be used in combination with factory coatings of PE, PP, FBE, PU, CTE and bitumen. The tape is suitable for operating temperatures from -40 to +50 °C. The tape has a thickness of 0,4 mm, a width of 100 mm and a roll length of 15 m.
