DENSO anti-corrosion tape DENSOLEN®-N60 100 mm

DENSO's DENSOLEN® butyl rubber tapes and mastics are used for corrosion prevention and repair work. No special tools are required to apply DENSOLEN® tapes. The layers of DENSOLEN® tape melt together to form a protective layer that is water and oxygen resistant. Application

DENSOLEN®-N60 is a corrosion prevention tape for metal pipes and pipelines with various diameters, ranging from small to very large. This tape has an inner layer of butyl rubber of more than 1.0 millimeter thick, which provides exceptional coverage even on uneven surfaces. With DIN-DVGW certification for stress class C 50 as defined in DIN EN 12068, the tape acts as the internal corrosion protection component in the DENSOLEN®-N60/-S20 tape system.

Product Features

DENSOLEN®-N60 is a co-extruded 3-layer plastic tape made of stabilized polyethylene carrier material with a butyl rubber adhesive on both sides. When wrapping the tape, the butyl rubber layers completely melt together, creating a leak-proof, hose-type coating. This makes the tape system impermeable to water vapor and oxygen and resistant to soil bacteria and electrolytes. DENSOLEN®-N60 is cold applied and can be used in combination with factory coatings of PE, PP, FBE, PU, CTE and bitumen. The tape is suitable for operating temperatures from -40 to +50 °C. The tape has a thickness of 1,2 mm, a width of 100 mm and a roll length of 10 m.
