DENSO anti-corrosion tape DENSOLEN®-R20 100 mm

DENSO's DENSOLEN® butyl rubber tapes and mastics are used for corrosion prevention and repair work. No special tools are required to apply DENSOLEN® tapes. The layers of DENSOLEN® tape melt together to form a protective layer that is water and oxygen resistant. In addition, thanks to DENSO's continuous commitment to innovation and sustainability, all DENSOLEN® Tapes are H2-ready, making them perfect for the future transition to hydrogen energy.

Application

DENSOLEN®-R20 HT is used as a mechanical protection tape and is applied in combination with DENSOLEN® 3-layer polymer tapes. The tape can be used for pipes subject to extreme mechanical loads. DENSOLEN®-R20 HT is a component of various tape systems, including DENSOLEN®-ET100/-R20 HT for temperatures up to +100 °C and the systems DENSOLEN®-AS39 P/-R20 HT, DENSOLEN®-AS40 Plus/-R20 HT and DENSOLEN®-AS50/-R20 HT with stress class C 50 according to EN 12068.

Product Features

DENSOLEN®-R20 HT is a co-extruded 2-layer plastic tape made of stabilized polyethylene carrier material with a butyl rubber adhesive on one side. The butyl rubber adhesive on DENSOLEN®-R20 HT completely fuses with the outer butyl rubber layer of the DENSOLEN® 3-layer tapes. In addition, DENSOLEN®-R20 HT also exhibits good UV stability.
