DENSO anti-corrosion tape DENSOLEN®-S10 100 mm

DENSO's DENSOLEN® butyl rubber tapes and mastics are used corrosion prevention and repair work. DENSOLEN® tapes are easy to apply and require no special tools. They are also self-amalgamating, allowing the bonded layers to form a water- and oxygen-resistant protective coating. Application

To prevent corrosion, DENSOLEN®-S10 is particularly suitable for use on uneven surfaces and in complex geometries. The tape is applied cold and, thanks to its extremely flexible carrier film, DENSOLEN®-S10 fits perfectly on uneven surfaces and components with complex shapes. Furthermore, the tape is approved by DIN-DVGW (B 50) and has an impact resistance corresponding to class C.

Product Features

DENSOLEN®-S10 is a co-extruded 3-layer plastic tape made of stabilized polyethylene carrier material with butyl rubber adhesive on both sides. Because the butyl rubber layers of the tape melt together when the tape is wrapped with overlap, a leak-proof, hose-type coating is created. This prevents water vapor and oxygen from entering and the accumulation of soil bacteria and electrolytes. DENSOLEN®-S10 is cold applied and can be used in combination with factory coatings of PE, PP, FBE, PU, CTE and bitumen. The tape is suitable for operating temperatures up to +50 °C. The tape has a thickness of 0,8 mm, a width of 100 mm and a roll length of 15 m. The use of DENSOLEN®-HT Primer is recommended to achieve optimal adhesion of the DENSOLEN® tapes to the substrate.
