DENSO anti-corrosion tape DENSOLEN®-S20 100 mm

For pipe repair and corrosion prevention, DENSO offers DENSOLEN® butyl rubber tapes and mastics. DENSOLEN® tapes are easy to apply and do not require any special tools. Application

DENSOLEN®-S20 provides corrosion protection for pipes and pipelines with small to very large nominal dimensions. With its excellent flexibility and resilience, it is an excellent outer tape for DENSOLEN® tape systems. When used in combination with DENSOLEN®-N60, DENSOLEN®-S20 therefore serves as an outer tape. DENSOLEN®-N60/-S20 meets the requirements of EN 12068 and DIN 30672 tension class C 50. Furthermore, it is certified by DIN/DVGW under registration number NV5180BN0071.

Product Features

DENSOLEN®-S20 is a co-extruded 3-layer plastic tape made of stabilized polyethylene carrier material with butyl rubber. A leak-proof and hose-type coating is created because the butyl rubber layers of the tape completely melt together during the wrapping of the tape. This makes the tape system insensitive to water vapour and oxygen and also resistant to soil bacteria and electrolytes. DENSOLEN®-S20 is cold applied and can be used in combination with factory coatings of PE, PP, FBE, PU, CTE and bitumen. The tape is suitable for operating temperatures from -40 to +50 °C. The tape has a thickness of 0,5 mm, a width of 100 mm and a roll length of 24 m.
