DENSO filling mass DENSO®-Plast Mastic 12 kg

Uneven surfaces on pipeline components can be filled using DENSO fillers. An anti-corrosion tape can then be applied to provide excellent corrosion protection. DENSO®-Plast Mastic is a hydrophobic filling compound based on petrolatum and contains reinforcing fillers and fibres. This unique composition provides excellent formability and stability, forming a strong sealing layer.

Processing

DENSOⓇ-Plast Mastic can be applied and shaped by hand or with a palette knife to smooth the uneven surface. The filler is compatible with all DENSO® petrolatum tapes and has a self-amalgamating effect with the tapes, thus achieving a complete cover of the surface. DENSOⓇ-Plast Mastic has an operating temperature up to 50 °C. Furthermore, preheating and the use of a primer are not required during application, resulting in significant time and cost savings and reduced risks during installation. This product is supplied in a 12 kilogram weight.
