DENSO filling mass DENSO®-Plast Mastic 2 kg

To prevent corrosion, DENSO fillers can be used on pipeline components with uneven surfaces. After filling these cavities, anti-corrosion tapes can be applied. DENSO®-Plast Mastic is a hydrophobic filling compound based on petrolatum and contains reinforcing fillers and fibres. This unique composition provides excellent formability and stability, forming a strong sealing layer.

Processing

DENSOⓇ-Plast Mastic can be applied and shaped by hand or with a palette knife to smooth the uneven surface. The filler is compatible with all DENSO® petrolatum tapes and has a self-amalgamating effect with the tapes, thus achieving a complete cover of the surface. DENSOⓇ-Plast Mastic has an operating temperature up to 50 °C. Furthermore, processing is efficient and simple because a primer and preheating are not required. This saves time and costs and significantly reduces risks. This product is supplied in a 2 kilogram weight.
