DENSO filling mass DENSOLEN®-W Mastic 2,5 kg

DENSO's filler compounds are used to fill cavities and uneven surfaces in piping systems to prevent corrosion in combination with anti-corrosion tapes. The DENSOLEN®-Mastic series is specifically designed for use with DENSOLEN® tapes and is often used for smoothing uneven surfaces such as high weld seams or to fill cavities in T-pieces or cable outlets. In combination with DENSOLEN® tapes, the filler has a self-amalgamating effect, causing it to fuse with the tape, resulting in a sealing layer for permanent corrosion prevention.

Product Features

The DENSOLEN®-Mastic filling compounds are made of a synthetic butyl rubber mastic and are available in various forms. DENSOLEN®-W Mastic, a bar-shaped version, is the softest and most easily formable. This filling compound is supplied in a 2,5 kilogram weight. An alternative is DENSOLEN®-WP, a formable tape with good stability.

Processing

The DENSOLEN® fillers can be applied and shaped by hand to smooth the uneven surface. Furthermore, the use of heat is not necessary during application, which makes installation simple and efficient, thus reducing time and risks. For optimum adhesion to the pipeline, it is recommended to pretreat the surface with DENSOLEN®-HT Primer.
