DENSO's DENSIT® tapes are specially developed for insulation and sealing purposes. The tapes guarantee effective insulation that is resistant to air or water penetration. In addition, they create high-quality connections between prefabricated components, making them an essential product in any building or construction project.
Densit®-FK and -K are specifically designed for use as an intermediate layer between metal surfaces of the same or different types, as well as between construction parts of other materials. This means that these tapes can serve as insulation for wagons and containers. In addition to corrosion protection for ventilation systems and refrigeration systems, these tapes can also be used for sealing joints in electrical, mechanical and ventilation systems.
Due to a high electrical resistance and an operating temperature range of -50 to +80 °C, DENSIT®-FK and -K are particularly effective for galvanic isolation between different metals. DENSIT® -FK tapes consist of a laminated thin polyethylene film. In contrast to DENSIT® -K, DENSIT® -FK only has one adhesive layer and is therefore ideal for use on free surfaces. This tape has a width of 50 mm, a thickness of 2 mm and a roll length of 5 m.
