DENSIT® tapes are developed by DENSO specifically for insulation and sealing. In addition to providing protection against air and water ingress, the tapes create high-quality connections between prefabricated components, making them indispensable for any building or construction project.
Densit®-FK and -K are designed for use between different types of metal surfaces, but also between construction parts of different materials. These tapes can also be used for insulation on wagons and containers. In addition to protecting ventilation systems and refrigeration systems from corrosion, they are also used for sealing electrical, ventilation and air conditioning connections.
A unique property of DENSIT®-FK and -K is their ability to provide galvanic isolation between dissimilar metals due to their high electrical resistivity and operating temperature range of -50°C to +80 °C. DENSIT® -FK tapes consist of a laminated thin polyethylene film. In contrast to DENSIT® -K, DENSIT® -FK only has one adhesive layer and is therefore ideal for use on free surfaces. This tape has a width of 60 mm, a thickness of 2 mm and a roll length of 5 m.
