DENSO isolation tape DENSIT®-K10 100 mm

DENSO has developed various DENSIT® tapes specifically for insulation and sealing. The tapes offer protection against the ingress of air and water. In addition, the tapes create high-quality connections between prefabricated components, making them an indispensable part of any construction or building project.

Densit®-FK and -K are designed for use between different types of metal surfaces, but also between construction parts of different materials. These tapes can also be used for insulation on wagons and containers. In addition to protecting ventilation systems and refrigeration systems from corrosion, they are also used for sealing electrical, ventilation and air conditioning connections.

Thanks to their high electrical resistance and operating temperature range of -50 to +80 °C, DENSIT®-FK and -K can provide galvanic isolation between dissimilar metals. DENSIT®-K is a self-adhesive tape made of flexible butyl rubber. Unlike DENSIT® -FK, DENSIT® -K has an adhesive layer on both sides. Thanks to its double-sided adhesive strength, DENSIT®-K is particularly suitable for applications between metal parts. This tape has a width of 100 mm, a thickness of 1 mm and a roll length of 8 m.
