DENSO isolation tape DENSIT®-K20 20 mm

DENSO has developed various DENSIT® tapes specifically for insulation and sealing. The tapes offer protection against the ingress of air and water. In addition, the tapes create high-quality connections between prefabricated components, making them an indispensable part of any construction or building project.

Densit®-FK and -K are suitable as an intermediate layer between metal surfaces of the same type or different types, but also between construction parts of other materials. This allows these tapes to serve as insulation for wagons and containers. In addition to corrosion prevention for ventilation systems and cooling systems, they can also be used for sealing joints in ventilation, climate control and electrical applications.

Due to a high electrical resistance and an operating temperature range of -50 to +80 °C, DENSIT®-FK and -K are particularly effective for galvanic isolation between different metals. DENSIT®-K is a self-adhesive tape made of flexible butyl rubber. Unlike DENSIT® -FK, DENSIT® -K has an adhesive layer on both sides. Thanks to its double-sided adhesive strength, DENSIT®-K is particularly suitable for applications between metal parts. This tape has a width of 20 mm, a thickness of 2 mm and a roll length of 4 m.
