Hawle bend 45° Systeem 2000 8545 DN150/160 mm

The 8545 bend 45° from Hawle is part of the System 2000 series, an innovative system specially designed for carrying out repairs or expanding existing networks using plastic pipes. A lip seal ring in the System 2000 coupling makes inserting PE or PVC pipes very easy. Due to this mechanical connection, welding is also unnecessary, making installation and removal of the pipes both effortless and safe.

Application

The System 2000 coupling is suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). The Systeem 2000 coupling is restraint and is suitable for connecting dedicated pipes. This coupling has a connection of 160 mm on both sides. This bend has an angle of 45°. The gasket of this coupling is made of EPDM, making the coupling suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The Systeem 2000 coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating. This makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21.
