Hawle bend 90° Systeem 2000 8535 DN150/160 mm

The Hawle 8535 bend 90° is part of the System 2000 series, a system specifically designed for repairing or expanding plastic pipe networks. With the System 2000 coupling, the pipe is simply inserted into the connection using the lip seal ring. This mechanical connection eliminates welding and ensures that the pipes can be installed and removed easily and safely.

Application

System 2000 couplings are suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). The Systeem 2000 coupling is restraint and is suitable for connecting dedicated pipes. This coupling has a connection of 160 mm on both sides. This bend has an angle of 90°. The gasket of this coupling is made of EPDM, making the coupling suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

This coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, making the Systeem 2000 coupling highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21.
