Hawle coupling Syno2000 7975 DN200/200 mm

With the Syno2000, Hawle combines the advantages of the Synoflex series with the innovative features of the System 2000 series. With the Synoflex technology, Hawle addresses dimensional and compatibility issues associated with non-dedicated pipes, making it possible to connect pipes of different materials. The other side of the coupling is equipped with System 2000, allowing for easy and safe installation and removal of plastic pipes. Syno2000 is therefore ideal for creating transitions between different pipe systems.

Application

The side with the Synoflex connection is, according to EN 14525, suitable for various pipe materials such as PE, PVC, steel, cast iron, and AC. (AC restraint is not guaranteed). The side with the System 2000 connection is suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). The Syno2000 coupling is restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. One connection of this coupling is a DN 200 Synoflex connection and has a size range of minimum 198 mm to maximum 230 mm on one side. The other connection of this coupling is a dedicated System 2000 connection of 200 mm. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN16 due to the gasket of EPDM on both sides.

Product Features

Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an epoxy powder coating, the Syno2000 coupling offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Syno2000 couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, the Syno2000 coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 4° on the Synoflex side. This applies across the entire size range of the coupling.
